Founded and owned by Terri Watson, Gateway is a family-run, Black-owned, and woman-owned venue that has become a cornerstone of the Clayton, North Carolina community.
Ms. Terri's Vision
Terri Watson saw a need in the Clayton community: a venue that felt elegant and welcoming, but did not come with the premium price tag of a big-city event space. She built Gateway on the belief that bringing your vision to life should not cost a fortune, and that every client deserves to feel like family.
That vision shows in every detail of the venue. The banquet hall is spacious and flexible. The bridal room gives wedding parties a private space to prepare.
